my grandad was in the army before he met my nana,they had 8 children and were both brilliant parents my grandad died before i was born but my nana told me all about him,he loved all his children very much,my nana died in may 08 and she said she was going to heaven to be back with my great grand parents and my grandad,he like to drink woodpecker cider,and sing the song YOU ARE MY SON SHINE,lots of love from all your loving family xxxx

The sandman sprinkles dust in your eyes,
An angel sends a goodnight kiss,

As it sails on the wind, along the coast,
Watch the crimson sun as it sets,
Lose yourself in the pale moon's ghost,
The angel is here again,
To send the dreams you like the most.

They won't bother you anymore,
Not now that the sleep angel is here,
She will wrap you in her wings of love,
And crush all of your fears.

The sleep angel brings you sweet images,
The sandman draws the visions on the beach,
They ripple like silver streams in the moonlight,
They reach out to your mind to touch,
Your most calm and peaceful thoughts,
Before the morning tide washes them out of reach.

The morning sunrise leaves a fleeting memory,
Of the sleep angel's peaceful serenity,
As the gentle breeze calls your name to awake you,
The songbirds continue her soothing lullaby,
The sweet smell of roses makes the memory linger,
As she and the sandman return to the realms of fantasy.

Smile of an Angel,
With a twinkle in your eye.
I’ll remember you forever,
Only for now, I’ll say goodbye.
For Wednesday
Laughter came so easy,
To someone with your smile.
I was lucky to have known you,
And loved you for a while.
For Thursday
I borrowed you from heaven,
Now you must return.
Of all the lessons in my life,
This is the hardest one to learn.
For Friday
You would not want our tears,
To see you on your way.
You always said our laughter,
Got you through your day.
So farewell to our loved one,
Now a part of our past.
Your goodness and your teachings,
Forever they will last.
For Saturday
Your dimples and soft skin,
Oh! How we shall miss,
A small cupid mouth,
Poised for a kiss.
The smell of your hair,
Fresh from the bath.
We’d tickle your tummy,
And how you would laugh.
Don’t want to forget,

A star fell from heaven β
and lit up the night
with crystalline diamonds
and ribbons of light.
It sped as it sparkled
with silver and gold
